1. What Antarelis is and what it is used for
Antarelis is a medicine used to:
- Support cardiovascular well-being;
- Reduce episodes of mild to moderate hypertension;
- Promote circulatory balance.
The active substance, Antarelixin, works by improving vascular tone and helping to lower blood pressure.
2. What you need to know before you take Antarelis
Do not take Antarelis if you:
- Are allergic to Antarelixin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- Have severe kidney or liver problems;
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised by your doctor.
Warnings and precautions
- Tell your doctor if you are taking other antihypertensive medicines;
- Monitor your blood pressure regularly during treatment;
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.
3. How to take Antarelis
- The recommended dose is one 200 mg tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day;
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water;
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
If you take more Antarelis than you should: contact your doctor or nearest hospital emergency department immediately.
If you forget to take Antarelis: take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Antarelis can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- Common (up to 1 in 10): headache, dizziness, fatigue;
- Uncommon (up to 1 in 100): nausea, palpitations, insomnia;
- Rare (up to 1 in 1000): skin reactions (rash, itching), significant drop in blood pressure.
If you experience serious side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
5. How to store Antarelis
- Store below 25 °C;
- Keep out of sight and reach of children;
- Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.

What Antarelis contains
- Active substance: Antarelixin 200 mg;
- Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, protective film coating.
Pack sizes available: blister packs of 14, 28 or 56 film-coated tablets.
